Nali,Nali-
Nălĭ?"Nălĭ"?
shàng gè lǐ bài tiān wǒ de zhōng guó péng yǒu bān jiā ,yāo qǐng wǒ qù cān guān tā men de xīn fáng zǐ 。tā men de xīn jiā bù zhì dé zhēn piāo liàng 。
kě dāng wǒ chēng zàn de shí hòu ,wǒ de péng yǒu què wèn :“nǎ lǐ nǎ lǐ ?”wǒ shuō :“kè tīng hěn piāo liàng !”kě tā hái shì bú tíng dì wèn :“nǎ lǐ nǎ lǐ ?”wǒ jiào dé hěn qí guài ,gàn cuì huí dá :“zhè jiān 、nà jiān ,hái yǒu jiā jù dōu hěn piāo liàng 。”

1. Did you get confused when you see the title? There must be something wrong with 哪里(Nălĭ), wait but does it mean "where"?
It's true, 哪里means where most of time when people want to know the location, like:
But sometimes, it means “No, I'm not that good as you said." like the text we have today: When "I" praised my friend, they answered with "哪里" as "Thanks" in Chinese way.
2. "V.+得+Adj. sentence. " This is the structure we usually use for comment, which means V. already happened or already started. "Adj. Sentence". shows it's not just a simple Adj., we need to say something like "很…、真…、非常…" Also, object is always put before V. For example,
3. “当……的时候”means while, you put the sentence between “当” and “的时候”
4. “却”simply means "but", only used after Subject and before the rest of the sentence. Usually started with “可”Like:
5. “还是” not only means "or", but "still" as well. Compare these sentences:
6. “干脆” is an Adv. here, often used to express give up any action like hiding, attemption, hesitation, and thinking, simply take some easilest or basic action. Like:
